Our approach to representation is not centered
on individual legal issues. Instead, we
seek to thoroughly understand our clients'
objectives and customize our services to
best meet their unique needs.
Instead of focusing on a problem, we focus
on finding and creating opportunity for
our clients. We're neither especially amenable
to taking "no" for an answer nor
very tractable upon hearing an excuse for
why something cannot be accomplished. We
will work diligently and creatively to make
your deal a reality.
We concentrate in a limited number of practice
areas and have learned not to stray far
from what we do best. Within our practice
areas, however, we have a very broad range
of experience.
We are not a lender's firm or a developer's
firm or a tenant representation firm. Our
practice is multi-dimensional and includes
representing both landlords and tenants,
lenders and borrowers, owners and contractors
and developers and municipalities. Further,
we don't have single dimensional attorneys
who only handle leases or loan workouts
or construction matters; many of us have
experience in each of those areas. As a
result, when we analyze a situation, we've
probably seen it before and we've probably
seen it from the other perspective as well.
This allows us to know what the other side
is thinking and why. We are then able to
leverage our insights to best achieve the
objectives of our clients.
When we are involved in a matter, whether
a transaction or litigation, we do not try
to "best" the other side at every
opportunity, instead we seek out a solution
that we believe will produce tangible results
and focus our attention in that direction.
