| Biography: |
Mr. Caffrey concentrates in commercial and product liability litigation and insurance law. He has provided coverage analysis and loss exposure assessment to insurers, insurance agencies and policy holders on both a local and a national basis. He practiced law in Ohio and Connecticut, and his trial experience includes numerous jury trials, court trials and arbitrations, as well as appellate arguments before Ohio Courts of Appeal. He served as a Director for the Strategic Claims Unit and the Products and International Unit for the Traveler’s Insurance Company, managing products liability lawsuits, significant exposure losses exceeding $500,000, and providing legal and coverage analysis on a national basis.
Recently retired as a Major in the United States Army (Reserve), Judge Advocates Generals (JAG) Corps., he served with the Joint Task Force in Haiti during Operation Uphold Democracy (1995) and Operation Joint Endeavor (1996) in Hungry and the former Republic of Yugoslavia and Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2004). His awards include the Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Metal.
