Biography:
Mr. Crowe represents institutions, businesses and entrepreneurs in a variety of transactional matters. Mr. Crowe's real estate practice includes
representing owners, developers, tenants, lenders and public/private ventures in all phases of real estate projects, including the acquisition,
permitting, development, construction, financing, and leasing of retail, office, residential, and governmental facilities. His business law practice
includes representing businesses and institutions in connection with management, financial, employment, contractual and other issues.
Recent matters handled by Mr. Crowe include:
- The representation of the landlord in a corporate headquarters lease comprising several hundred thousand square feet
- The representation of the owner of an office tower in a simultaneous mortgage loan/mezzanine loan refinance
- The representation of a developer with respect to the land use approvals for a complex urban redevelopment project
- All national field office leasing and the $100MM sale/leaseback of a regional headquarters complex for a major financial services institution
- Counsel to a major financial institution in connection with its mortgage and related transactions in New York and New England
- The representation of the borrower in a multi-bank credit-swap facility for over $100MM
- The representation of a major New York-based distribution company in its facilities requirements throughout the eastern US, including several build-to-suit deals
- The development and lease-up of grocery-anchored retail centers in New England
- The representation of a national retailer in connection with selected real estate transactions in New England
